I am a fresher to labview and also to signal processing. We have a NI USB 6009 DAQ and we want to detect optical signals using a photodiode and this photo diode is connected to DAQ. The Optical signals are Chopped using chopper to make pulses,the chopper have TTL output. And we dont know how to trigger or what is the sampling rate which we want to use for this aquisition, the frequency of chopper wheel is 200Hz and it have ten cuttings.
Our main idea is to extract the signal in accordance with the chopper frequency ie, 200*10Hz
But, what sampling rate to be used for this? How to trigger the detection using TTL signal, is it possible Using NI USB 6009.
