We're a cardiovascular physiology lab and we're interested in studying the effects of blood flow on different cell types. We want to set-up a flow system with a peristaltic pump and to generate 2 distinct waveforms using our LabView and USB-6229. However, I'm unsure as to whether I can generate both types of waveforms at once using 1 peristaltic pump with 2 pump heads, or whether I need 2 separate pumps. I will also be using a flow meter/sensor that feeds the flow rate info to the data acquisition card USB 6229. In other words, can I generate both types of waveforms using 1 pump with 2 heads or do I need 2 separate pumps?
